Mike Mosgaard gets his BJJ Blue Belt
Congratulations to Mike Mosgaard for achieving his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt Wednesday night at Gracie Barra Evolution. Mike has been training with Professor Ryan for well over a decade. His original focus was on Kickboxing/Tae Kwon Do where he earned his Black Belt. Now Mike has set his sights on the amazing art of BJJ.

Ninja Night
This month’s Ninja night was another fun filled event for the children of Evolution Martial Arts. The night began with a Halloween costume party at the school. MMA Debut as Champion!
Matt Lindner made his MMA debut on Monday October 3rd at Defiant 7 in Orlando. Matt opened the first round with a strikes setting up a big double leg takedown. We had a great open mat training session today at Gracie Barra Evolution. A BIG thank you goes out to Professor Matt Arroyo and Professor Jerre Norton for bringing their dedicated students to cross train Gi and No Gi Jiu-Jitsu. NAGA Chicago

Triathalon
4/28/11 - Yen Loyola, one of the students at Evolution Martial Arts, took 2nd place at the Nautica South Beach Olympic Triathlon last weekend. Yen competed in the 225lbs and above division finishing with a time of 2 hours forty seven minutes. Yen was waiving the GB Evolution banner as he had our patch sewn onto his shorts. Yen will be competing in another triathlon this weekend in St. Petersburg....
